If you have children in Coweta County, you have probably wondered when the schools would make up the days missed during last week’s icy weather. You aren’t alone; however, as of now, the Coweta County School System doesn’t know.
While Coweta has 4 snow days built into the school year calendar, they are already over that allotment and it’s just the beginning of the winter. Some fear that the weather will only get worse, as we get farther into these cold winter months.
School representatives hope to have an answer for parents and students soon. Until then: if you're making family vacation plans for spring break or early summer, make sure any deposits are refundable.
