Free Coweta County Family Events March 7-12

Free family events this week in Coweta County!!
Monday, March 7
Coweta Libraries will host Baby Time.  This themed story time for toddlers includes stories, finger plays, songs, movement, rhymes, games, and story-inspired craft.  Times: Senoia Branch 10:30am / Central Branch 10:15am & 11:15am / Newnan Branch 10:30am.
Tuesday, March 8
Coweta Libraries will host Story Time.  This themed story time for preschoolers includes stories, songs, games, and an arts and crafts activity to complement the stories. Times: Newnan Branch 10:30am / Grantville Branch 10:30am.
The Central Library will host Art & About at 11am and 12:30pm.  Bring the family out for an afternoon of arts and crafts for children ages 6-10.
Wednesday, March 9
Lap Time will be held at the Newnan Library.  This themed story time for toddlers includes stories, finger plays, songs, movement, rhymes, games, and story-inspired craft.  10:15am & 11:15am.
The Senoia Library will host Story Time at 10:30am.  This themed story time for preschoolers includes stories, songs, games, and an arts and crafts activity to complement the stories.  The Central Library will host their Story Time at 11am.
Thursday, March 10
The Georgia Book Club will be held at 6pm at the Newnan Library.  The club focuses on Georgia authors, many of whom have titles on the Books All Georgians Should Read list compiled by the Georgia Center for the Book. The club meets in the library conference room.
Friday, March 11
Lap Time will be held at the Newnan Library at 10:30am.  This themed story time for toddlers includes stories, finger plays, songs, movement, rhymes, games, and story-inspired craft.
The Central Library will host Movie Time at 4pm.  Families are invited to this free screening of Megamind.

Saturday, March 12
Crafty Critters will be held at the Central Library at 11am.  All ages. This is an arts and crafts program that highlights various artistic movements and trends as well as special days and holidays throughout the year.
Annual Barbecue, Mt. Gilead United Methodist Church, Raymond/Sharpsburg, March 12, 11 a.m.-2 p.m. BBQ plate/drink/dessert -- $8 adults/$4 children. Dine-in/takeout. Information, 770-254-8876.
The Teen Gaming Challenge will be held at the Central Library at 1pm.  Teens, do you think you’re the best at DDR or Guitar Hero? Come to the Central Library and prove it! We play games on the big screen for maximum effect and maximum fun
Read It Loud Saturdays will be held at the Newnan Library at 1pm.  All ages welcome.
The Grantville Library will host a Craft project for children and families at 1pm.
Mother-Daughter Book Club will be held at the Central Library at 3:30pm.  For moms and their daughters in grades 6-8. This is a book discussion group which covers a different juvenile or young adult fiction book every month.
