Top (free) Apps for Kids

Okay, let’s admit it.  It’s COLD outside!  With Coweta County Schools closed today and tomorrow due to the weather, and the fact that the kids have been out of school now for well over 2 weeks now, some of us are looking for things to keep the kids entertained that don’t include venturing out into the frigid temperatures.

If your kids are like mine, they love their tablets (and our phones).  Sticky fingers aside, here are some of the top (free) apps for kids.  Maybe some of these will help you make it through these few days of icy temperatures with (most of) your sanity still intact.

Kid Mode: Kids Games + Videos Review My personal favorite - Kid Mode: Kids Games + Videos can transform your Android into a kid-friendly phone for even the youngest app enthusiasts -- if you set the lock and filter options correctly. The app is the mobile companion for the Zoodles kid browser. Different options and levels of access can be set for multiple kids to customize games, videos, and access to your phone's other apps.
