in the art of it (3500 Hwy 34E, Ste 6, Sharpsburg) Summer Art Camps run through July 24th and offer a variety of artistic fun. Explore the Earth, Animal Kingdom, and Music and the Arts themes are only a sampling of their offerings this summer.
Lynch Park Pool (23 Richard Allen Dr., Newnan) offers families a way to cool off and enjoy the season. The pool features a water slide, splash fountain for kids, 42'-wide zero entry, mushroom water feature and plenty of pool-side tables and shade umbrellas. $2/per person for the day or $25 per person for the season. Swimming lessons are offered to ages 4 and up, Wednesday night Adult Volleyball League, and a water aerobics are also offered at the pool.
